Frozen yogurt bites
Frozen Yoghurt Bites are a tasty and healthy treat for the kids. These tasty treats are easy to make and contain only two ingredients: yoghurt and berry powders. We recommend using thick, creamy yoghurt, such as Greek Yoghurt, and adding a few teaspoons of berry powders for a nutritional, flavour and colour boost
Instructions
-
Step 1. Mix yoghurt with berry powders. We recommend trying different berry powders in various wild-berry flavours, with beautiful colours.
-
Step 2. Take a freezer bag and cut a tiny corner off. Don't use the pre-made tear-off they provide, since you want a smaller opening. That way, you can squeeze out the amount you want. You decide how big or how small you want them to be.
-
Step 3. Lay a piece of wax paper on a cookie sheet or use silicone baking sheet. Then start squeezing out the yogurt on to wax paper.
-
Step 4. One you are done you place them in the freezer. Let them get solid for about 4 hours.
-
Step 5. Pop them off and place them in a freezer bag. Now you have a snack perfect for when they come home from school or when they are having fun playing fall football in the backyard.
It is actually a lot of fun to make these. The kids might even want to help.
To easily remove the yogurt bites from the baking sheet, make sure to line with parchment paper. This helps with clean up too.
