Wild Lingoberry Smoothie
Try this lingonberry smoothie this Christmas and boost your immune system. Lingonberries are high in antioxidants, polyphenols, flavonoids, anthocyanins and vitamin C that fight inflammation and help fend off pathogens like viruses and bacteria. If you also love blueberries, you can easily mix blueberries and lingonberries. Blueberries also help to boost immunity by providing antioxidants, especially anthocyanins and vitamin C.
INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 tsp organic berry powder ( lingonberry powder and/or blueberry powder)
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbs.almond butter
- 1-2 tbs honey
Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until completely smooth. Enjoy.
