Arctic Natural Nutrition AS processes privacy information safely and securely. This page describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit and purchase from Arcticbotanics.com (the “Site”).
Personal information collected
We store personal information about our customers who either signed up for a newsletter, created an account with us, or purchased at our website. This may involve the following information: invoice address, shipping address, payment information, email address and telephone number. This type of information is referred to as “order information”.
In addition to this information, the data relating to purchase history and behaviour patterns, that are anonymised will be stored in order to offer our customers an improved experience the next time they visit the website. This information is used to be able to give our customers the best recommendations from us on our website and in newsletters that are sent out.
We use personal information such as name, address, telephone and e-mail address in order to be able to fulfil the purchase agreement in accordance with Personal protection regulation article Art 6 (b). In this way, we can communicate with you as a customer, fulfil desired orders, organise shipping and send out invoices and order confirmation. In addition, the information is used to adapt products and services to our customers.
Where you have consented to the information being used to provide you with information, offers and service via email, telephone and SMS in accordance with the personal protection regulation Art 6 (a), you can let us know if this is no longer desirable.
Your personal information
With the exception of providers of services and systems that help operate the website, we do not disclose personal information to others, unless we are legally obliged to do so. All our subcontractors are subject to the same obligations as we have towards our customers.
Deletion of information
Information related to purchases will, in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act, be stored in our customer register for 5 years. Newsletter registration will be stored as long as the customer is an active customer unless we are notified that they wish to be deleted. If you as a customer want the information about you to be corrected, updated or deleted, you have the option to do so if it is not against the law and you live in Europe. Contact customer service via email if desired. If you as a customer have questions relating to your personal data, you are welcome to contact us. Please note that personal information cannot be deleted from our website as long as the information is:
- Affect an existing order
- Affects an order made less than 180 days before the request (this is the period in which a buyer can claim a refund via their credit card company)
If personal data cannot be corrected or deleted as a result of one or both points above, we ask the buyer to send us a request for deletion when it is within the valid time.
