Lingonberry Powder
Wild lingonberries [vaccinium vitis-idaea] contain the highest amount of antioxidants anthocyanins of all wild berries in the Arctic. Lingonberries are also a good source of vitamin C and manganese. The cold temperatures and midnight sun provide the ultimate conditions for lingonberries to grow, leaving these delicate berries with a higher concentration of antioxidants and more flavour. For a nutrition-, flavour-, and colour boost, add 1-2 tsp. Powder to smoothies, porridge, yoghurt, breakfast cereal and bakery. Remember this is a superfood. 1 tsp. = a handful of fresh lingonberries.
