After a long, cold winter and the sun has started to peek out, a sea buckthorn smoothie tastes fantastic. The berries have a fresh, sour taste with a rich and distinctive aroma.
Sea buckthorn, also known as the Nordic passion fruit, is a nutritious berry. It has a very high content of vitamin C and vitamins E, B, and A. In addition, these fresh yellow berries contain omega 3, 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids, which make them a perfect ingredient in smoothies to strengthen the immune system and well-being. We can recommend the Tindved smoothie for a proper antioxidant boost.
